Hello!

Tonight, as you read this – I’m at prom. I’ve got a fancy dress that I’ve made a bunch of posts about finding (and I really hope no one else has!) and I’m all dressed up, hopefully a little bit drunk and probably dancing a lot.

Obviously I’m writing this in advance so I can’t show you what I look like on the actual night (yet) but the photos in the header picture were when I was practising the look for the night a few weeks ago.

I’m excited even though I’m not entirely sure where I stand from the perspective of friends – I don’t really know who wants me around and who doesn’t want to talk to me or what but hopefully with a little bit of alcohol, people will be more lenient. Hopefully.

I think it’ll be nice – I do have a really good year group and I think they’re all going to be pretty nostalgic about actually leaving. This is going to be the last time we all see each other and even then some people have gone on holiday and aren’t going to prom.

I’m struggling to write about prom in advance – it would have made more sense to write a sort of ‘review’ of the night tomorrow but that’s like joined up thinking; I hadn’t even considered that till right now.

Prom is the last ‘booked event’ (if you can call it that) I have before Ecuador – it marks two weeks of solid content making to cover for when I’m away for a month, I’m aiming for thirty to thirty five blog posts (so I don’t have to worry about blogging the first second I get back when I’m tired and jet lagged) and between 4 and 8 videos for my YouTube channel, alongside making sure I have enough queued post for my tumblr with stories and asks and blurbs and things as well.

It’s going to be a busy two weeks but it’s going to be two weeks of creating and I’m really excited.
