On December 1st 2013, I made my first YouTube video because my sister had started a YouTube channel and was doing Vlogmas – challenging herself to make a video every day. The sole reason I made my first video was because I thought ‘if she can do it, I can’. And nearly five years later I still love the platform – my first video was filmed on my iPad and edited on Windows Movie Maker and I feel like a lot of my creative videography ideas have spanned from making YouTube videos for so long. I don’t work on my channel to try and be a YouTuber or to make money but it’s helped me become the creative person I am today.
