In 2012, I signed up to a charity work trip to Tanzania with Camps International. In fundraising for this event I organised a Spring Fayre. In promoting this event, I wrote an article for my town’s local newspaper ‘The Local’ to explain why we were fundraising and encourage people to come to the event. I asked the paper for work experience but was unable to as I was not studying journalism at the time.
