Working at NASS Festival in July 2016 was my first bit of work experience that contributed to my second year – NASS was my first ever festival and I worked as a copywriter. Essentially, I sat in a cabin trying to write about a festival I knew nothing about and none of my work was used, which sounds pretty shit. It wasn’t though – I worked with an incredible crew and I found my own ways of getting more content for my writing and learning about the festival, the acts that performed and the people that attended. I worked very closely with the producer and helped conduct interviews and I actually really enjoyed it, even though I was incredibly nervous beforehand.
