After returning from a trip to New York, I had to dive head first into working on my final major project – just two days later while severely jet lagged I conducted my first interview! I then filmed and recorded more interviews, planned content and edited everything together (alongside transcribing every interview and arranging the final hand in doc) and handed it all in by May 2nd. FMP has been a real journey for me and I’m so proud of it – I’ve learnt a lot, I’ve made some amazing friends both from interviews and from too many hours spent in the news room. Three years at uni have been a real journey, I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved in my time here. Next stop: the future.

Four weeks after I handed in my FMP I found out what grade I’d achieved. My project got a high 2:1 (68% – only two marks off a first!). Overall in my degree I achieved a high 2:1 also with 69.06% – less than half a percent away from a First Class Degree.
