Whilst Lucas was lucky enough to get work experience at Glastonbury, I was offered the chance to work at NASS festival in Somerset as the copywriter!
To be honest, I’d never heard of it before I was offered a position working at it and I probably wouldn’t go as in actually going to the festival but it’s going to be really good experience and I’m so excited to get some experience of a field I really want to work in.
The music journalism, live music industry is the industry I want to work in; hopefully it’s my future and I’m really excited to get a taste of it and being able to write while I’m there is even better!
I’m going to have a training day early next week (I think!) so I will know exactly what my job entails nearer the time. It was quite short notice and I don’t think work are too pleased with me asking for more time off but it’s work experience that’s so worth it! I don’t know if I’ll be able to accept any more festivals if I’m offered them but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.
I’m so excited!
And this might be my shortcut to getting to Glastonbury next year – if I prove I’m good and hardworking, hopefully they’ll like me!
I still hate Lucas for getting picked.
I’m joking. Like, half joking.
I’m going to be a writer at a music festival I’m so excited!
