Hello!

I think I wrote a very similar post to this last year, but my nan is fab and I love her a lot, so here we are again.

It’s my wonderful Nan’s birthday today! She is a wonderful, wonderful woman that I couldn’t admire more highly – she is one of my idols and she really inspires me in so many aspects of my life, particularly in that I’m studying journalism like she always wanted to.

My nan is a truly brilliant lady (how many different positive adjectives can I use? All of them, obviously) – she reads my blog posts and won’t watch my YouTube videos because she thinks she’s not allowed but she’s more than allowed and is often referenced in them! In fairness, I tend to tell my friends off when they’re being rude by saying ‘my nan watches the vlogs!’, which is at present a lie but I’m working on getting her to actually watch my vlogs.

She’s fairly techy for a nan – she has Facebook and she does read my blog but she doesn’t really know what she’s doing at all. But we’re teaching her!

She’s so chatty and she cares so much about so many people – she always asks what I’m doing and in a very media based industry, she makes a massive effort to understand what I’m doing and what I want to do with my life and I would love to take her with me on wherever my journey takes me.

Because I’m her favourite grandchild, obviously. (She says I’m here favourite grandchild called Sophie… I leave out the last part).

Unfortunately I won’t be home to celebrate or say happy birthday in person Nanny, but just know I wish I was and I love you a lot! Happy Birthday!
