Hello!
Happy December! It’s December 1st and I’m officially allowed to share how Christmassy I feel! I can wear jumpers and sing songs and spread my Christmas joy without everyone telling me it’s November and I’m too early and ruining my Christmas cheer!
I’m listening to Michael Buble’s Christmas album as I write!
Not only am I so ready for Christmas (I’ve decided what I’m getting most people and I’m so excited to wrap the presents up all pretty with tags and ribbons) but the first of December marks 11 successful months of blogging in my project.
I’ll be honest – technically it’s not 334 consecutive days of blogging because I missed April 1st, there’s been a couple of nights I’ve realised I didn’t blog at 1am so I missed it and while I was in Ecuador I pre-wrote all my posts so – technically not 334 consecutive posts. But I’ve written 334 posts!
The end of the year seems so close and simultaneously so far away – three hundred and thirty four is a lot, so thirty one doesn’t seem all that much. But in this month I’ve got two and a half more weeks of uni, two more assignment deadlines, taking Lucas to my home town again, getting my hair cut short, Christmas itself and hopefully New Years with Lucas and that’s a lot to fit into a month.
So 31 isn’t much in comparison to what I’ve done but I don’t think it’ll go that fast.
Well, I say that until it hits January 1st and I’m like hello 2016, where did you come from?
I’m excited for December – I’m proud of the last 11 months and how far I’ve managed to bring this project but I’m looking forward to 2016.
Thank you for reading,
Sophie xx
