I’ve just filmed, edited and uploaded a YouTube video in under three hours and whilst I’m very proud of the video, I’m most excited about the fact that I rented a camera from my university to film on and it made the whole process both easier and more exciting.
I borrowed a Canon 700D which has a flip screen (what a luxury!) and silent autofocus, so I could leave the autofocus on the whole time and it kept me in focus without being so embarrassingly loud that no one wants to watch the video! This shouldn’t be so exciting to me, but I’m thinking I probably should have done more research when I was deciding what camera I wanted for my 18th birthday over a year ago.
Now that makes me feel old.
I got ridiculously excited over a new camera and I definitely didn’t make the most of it this weekend – I should have gone to the docks or into the city to take photos but instead I slept, bought food and made myself feel quite ill. It’s been an eventful weekend!
And tomorrow brings on a new week!
Thank you for reading,
That’s where you’ll find me:
