Hello!

I had a really nice day catching up with some of my friends from my trip to Ecuador today and it was really lovely catching up with them, but I then spent my evening enrolling for my university course.

I’m going to study Multimedia Journalism at Southampton Solent University and in signing up for the course, I was reminded of the modules I’ll be studying next year and I got really, really excited. So I’m going to blog about it.

It’s such an even spread of writing, video production, audio (radio) and photography and it’s the first time I’ve felt really excited about the course since I went to the open day in September last year.

I’m also unusually excited about the law and ethics module too – I feel very passionately about people, particularly celebrities, being treated like they deserve and I imagine that module will be something along those lines. Alongside stuff like plagiarism and ownership of photos and what not. I have no idea. I’m just excited.

And the thought of having no proper exams at the end of the year makes me really happy too.

I’m nervous about moving into halls and making friends and what not, but I’m definitely more excited now. And I’ll blog all the way through it.
