Hello!
I love YouTube a lot – I love making a video every week, I love that I’m making two videos a week right now because I’m making content for Ecuador and I love that (if everything goes to plan) I have 9 videos to go up while I’m gone – at this point you’ll have seen three of them, how exciting!
But I don’t know what defines a proper YouTuber – is it just someone who makes videos? Is it someone who has a certain number of subscribers? Or is it someone who thinks about making videos at every opportunity and is always getting footage and making things?
Because that last one applies to me.
Everything I do now, I think about whether I could make a video. I love technology and finding camera gadgets and new ways to make my videos more interesting – I’m taking my selfie stick to South America because it has a camera fitting and I can probably get some good wide range selfies and footage.
I always want to be making videos – I’m always making content and editing things and trying to learn more about my cameras and my software. I’m actually getting really excited to learn more about video editing from university (if I get in) and right now, all I want to do is make things.
I don’t know if that makes me a proper YouTuber, but I’m damn proud of my YouTube channel with or without the title.
Thank you for reading,
Sophie xx
