Hello!

Can’t write a blog post about 5SOS without having a really old photo as the header photo!

It’s another scheduled post tonight I’m afraid as right this very second I’m watching 5 Second’s of Summer perform the Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour in Birmingham. As I write this, I can hear Jenny brushing her teeth and we’re just getting ready to go get some lunch and go down to the arena to meet friends and people.

Just browsing through tumblr I can already see people are going out into Birmingham to meet 5SOS and get pictures with them and it’s kind of freaking me out that these people I idolise are out there, in the same city as me, being actual people and doing actual people things. It’s blowing me mind that these people I’ve loved through a screen are actually real.

I think this is how I’m going to end up spending most of the concert tonight – just in awe and so, so grateful that these people actually exist because god knows where I’d be without them.

It’s a weird day, we bought these tickets almost a year ago, it’s almost exactly a year since I last saw 5SOS opening for the One Direction stadium tour. This moment has been a long time coming and I don’t know how I’m going to feel knowing it’s going to be all over by the end of today.

It’s strange. I’ll write a super long review blog post of the show tomorrow!
