Hello and welcome to another post where Sophie moans about being tired!
… I’m tired.
I feel like I’ve not stopped for about three hundred years – all I’ve been doing is working on the Hairspray Rehearsal video by getting footage from almost every rehearsal, revising and doing homework and trying to find time to revise for my summer exams.
Blogging and YouTube and music have taken a back seat and this makes me infinitely sad because they’re the things I’m good at and the things I want to do and I just can’t prioritise them.
But then when I go to bed, I just can’t sleep! I wake up and feel awake between 10pm and 2am and it’s the worst thing when I’m trying to wake myself up at 7am the next morning. It was bad enough that on Wednesday night (or Thursday morning, if we’re being technical) I didn’t get to sleep till 6am and I got out of bed for school at 7.30.
It’s safe to say that the following night I fell asleep with my bedroom light on, my phone under the covers (not plugged in charging) and still wearing my glasses. I was very sleepy and since then I’ve just not felt awake? It’s very weird and I don’t know how to make it better so I’m going to wait for the day my body gets used to not having so much sleep.
And that concludes ‘Sophie has a sleep complex and rambles about it whilst falling asleep at the keyboard’. Join us next time for The Height Complex and The ‘They’re Definitely Laughing At Me Behind My Back’ Complex – an exhilarating trilogy.
I don’t even know where that came from. Goodnight!
