Why hello there!

I felt like doing a tag today, because I feel like it helps you get to know me a bit as a writer and a blogger but when I googled ‘blogger tags’ I didn’t find anything other than articles on the pros and cons of putting tags on your blog posts. Not very relevant!

So I turned to Google Images, which gave me many a ’30 Day Blogging Challenges’ which had very closed questions so I thought I’d answer them here.

Yay, let’s go!

Day 1: basic things about yourself
Name: Sophie A Luckett (follow me on twitter, shameless self promotion)
Age: 18 with the mental age of a 70 year old woman
Favourite colour: blue
Favourite food: potatoes/carbs (no shame)
Favourite animal: elephants, I’m in love

Day 2: 10 likes & dislikes
Likes: potatoes, blogging (eey), music, YouTube, taking photos, being creative, travelling, painting my nails, spending time with my family and spreading positivity (lame)

Dislikes: slow walkers, judgemental people, rude people, people who make suicide jokes, high necked clothes, shops that class anything above a size 12 as ‘plus sized’, people who consider themselves superior, people that flirt with everyone they meet, anyone who puts down my family (Luckett pride right here) and making a list of things I dislike

Day 3: Your day, ‘in great detail’
I got up around 11, sat in bed watching YouTube for an hour, made a cheese toastie for lunch and then spent all afternoon battling anxiety and procrastination as I tried to redraft a coursework essay.

For my mum who reads all my blogs post: I worked very hard and didn’t lose concentration once.

Day 4: The meaning behind your Tumblr name
Going to pick my main tumblr (I have so many) – lost in a nebula.

I am one for the existential crisis and space intrigues me so much, sometimes I feel a bit lost in the whole thing and ‘lost in space’ sounds a bit like a tween animated adventure movie – ‘lost in a nebula’ sounds a bit more mystical, I think.

Day 5: Five places you want to visit
In no particular order: America, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya and Greece

Day 6: What band or musician is most important to you?
5 Seconds of Summer without a shadow of a doubt – they care so much about their fans and they deserve to be so happy, they deserve the world and I’m so happy that their dreams are coming true and they get to do what they love every day. Very proud of them – I feel like a baby sister watching their brothers grow up but that’s a bit weird because they have absolutely no idea who I am.

That got weird, ooops.

Day 7: Do you read? What are your favourite books?
I’ve gone off reading because of school and forced reading (hoping to get back into it when I finish in four months) but I love ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ by Steven Chbosky, ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ by John Green and ‘The Innocent’s Story’ by Nicky Singer.

Day 8: Three things you want to say to different people
This is a fabulous question, I love it.

Nina – you mean the world to me and I adore you with all my heart, when we eventually meet we’ll hug like Luke and Michael in that gif and the reason that we’re best friends is because you know exactly what gif I’m talking about.

Ashton – please don’t let anyone bring you down; anyone who’s not willing to stick around when you forget to tweet for a day or someone upsets you, is not worth trying to impress and keep around. There are so many people that love you!

Alex – congratulations on your engagement! You write some absolutely fantastic songs and beautiful lyrics, please never stop creating.

No one said they had to be people I know.

Day 9: Pet peeves
See dislikes. I don’t know, I don’t like dwelling on negative things.

Day 10: If you could only live off of one food and one beverage for the rest of your days, what would they be?
Coca cola (I’m addicted, it’s awful/amazing) and potatoes because you can cook them so many different days.

Day 11: What is your favourite quote?
I don’t know, like, there’s so many lovely romantic quotes but I think there’s more to life than romance. I’m just watching Graham Norton and Celia Imrie is a question and she just said something along the lines of ‘I don’t like back up plans because I believe if you love something, you do it or die’ and I really support that.

Day 12: Screenshot your desktop

Day 13: Three confessions of your choice
– I was meant to be fasting yesterday and I had two freddos (sorry mum)
– I was going to give up something for lent but I forgot
– I spent half my life watching the Sacconejolys and I’m not sorry

Day 14: Provide pictures of 5 celebrity crushes
If you insist

This was more difficult than I anticipated, I quite like Spider-Man.

I don’t know, I don’t ‘crush’ on people so much as ‘crave for friendship’ so there are five people here I shall leave it at this. I will add Dodie Clark because I adore her.

Day 15: a photo of someone you fancy at the moment
I repeat.

Particularly the losers on the left.

Day 16: If the world were to end tomorrow, what would you do with your remaining time on earth?
Not write my English Literature coursework essay. Go and take lots of photos.

Day 17: What do you want to be when you get older?
Dear lord the list is infinite – writer, tour production assistant, YouTuber, music video director, musician, song writer, producer – literally, I wanna try everything.

Day 18: Name the TV show you have become addicted to

Day 19: A list of all the places you’ve lived at
Sidcup, a town in South Lincolnshire that I don’t want to disclose the name of because internet safety

Day 20: Concerts you have attended
So many – three All Time Low, Little Mix, Michael Buble, The Overtones, Josh Groban, three One Direction (all with 5SOS), probably more? This year I’m seeing The Script, All Time Low, McBusted and 5SOS and I’m so excited!

Day 21: Turn on’s and off’s
Turn on’s: being tall, swishy hair, nice eyes, good personality, not a dickhead
Turn off’s: being a dickhead

Day 22: A picture of what you wore today
I’m sat down and it’s half past 11, but I wore black leggings, a vest top that says #selfie on it (because I have no shame) and a black hoodie. I did not leave the house today.

Day 23: A letter to someone. Anyone
Hey, when you’re being rude to people, it might not offend people but it’s really not a very nice thing to do and it’s not impressing anyone. I know you don’t get it, but I don’t get why being an asshole and being mean to people is something you want to be, even if it’s the ‘real you’. Sorry.

Oops.

Day 24: Seven things the cross your mind a lot
– how great the internet is
– how much I enjoy being home alone and turning the music up so load I can’t hear myself sing
– the insignificance of humanity
– how much I want to rent a dance studio and just party hard
– ‘that would make a gorgeous photo’
– the school system is insane
– my phone is going to fall apart before my contract ends

Day 25: Would you rather date someone plain with an amazing personality or someone beautiful with a plain personality?
An amazing personality makes someone beautiful. (cough) cliche (cough) but true, I find.

Day 26: What are some little things that make you feel warm and fuzzy?
People sending me things that reminded them or me, cuddles from particular people and laughing in a group of people that don’t make me feel like a cow in a heard of sheep.

Day 27: A picture of your handwriting
Um.

Day 28: Do you wish for anything at 11:11? If so, what do you wish for?
Yes, myself and my good friend Jenny sat in Costa at 11:11 on Tuesday and made wishes. Now, if I tell you it won’t come true!
