Hiya!

When I made this blog post about Tattoos it easily became my most popular post ever (with over 500 views… that’s a lot for me!) and today I followed it through.

I got my first tattoo today and I’m so happy with it! It’s a gorgeous little double quaver note and it’s so, so beautiful, I love it.

Questions I assume I will be asked: how much did it hurt? How long did it take? How much did it cost? I will answer all these things!

I’m not going to disclose where I got my tattoo done because internet safety and all that but I’ll say it took around half an hour, it cost my £20 (based on around £50 an hour charge) and it really didn’t hurt that much! The only way I can describe it is like the point of a maths compass? For me, it stung more afterwards than it did during the actual process but that might have been adrenalin, excitement and nerves.

I can’t say I ‘enjoyed’ it but it was compelling – I couldn’t stop watching it as it was being done and I’ve basically already planned the next one, but I want to keep it a secret until I get it done. This is me half way to doing the traditional YouTuber ‘I’m working on a secret project’ but with tattoos I want on my body.

I can’t wait for it to heal properly and actually have a tattoo! I love it.

And I also got my hair dyed today.

Last year I dyed my hair a lot of crazy colours and when I got back to school in January I was asked to stop dying it. Whilst I don’t agree with the premise that I have to stop dying my hair for school (??), I respect my school enough to do it. A month and a half later, I’m sincerely missing dying my hair so I got highlights and it’s so much lighter than it was before. I love being blonde even if it is a very light blonde!

Like the tattoo, I’ll answer the same questions – in total it cost £68, took around three and a half hours and didn’t hurt at all! My hairdressers are so, so lovely – the time flew by and I had a good old natter whilst I was there!

Altogether, I’ve had an amazing day. I’ll be putting a vlog up on my YouTube channel and I’ll add a link here when I’ve uploaded it!
