Hello!

I was going to try and find another tag post to make today – either a ‘get to know me’ style one or a book one, as I’ve already done a music one – but I couldn’t find any that wouldn’t be more than a yes/no answer.

So I thought I’d find a bunch of ‘which band member should you date’, ‘which Harry Potter house are you in’ and ‘what character are you’ quizzes!

Which member of 5SOS should you be dating?

Best place to start right? Obviously! The subtitle is ‘Should you give Ash a bash?’ – oh dear. Definitely aimed a tweens. Oh no wait there’s a swear word, no sugarscape think of the children!

Ashton Irwin! What a surprise – people on tumblr have been telling me this for months. But the description reads;

“Hooray – looks like you’re now totes a thing with Ash. Thought you’d never find anyone else who knew the entire rap to Will Smith’s Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It? THINK AGAIN. Ashton’s gonna have you actually wetting yourself (probs not straight away, might put him off) on a day-to-day basis and he’s the life and soul of the party.”

I have a few queries – the use of ‘totes’, the fact I have never heard that Will Smith song and the concept of wetting myself. Other than that, I have no objection – Ashton Irwin can kill those drums and I’m jealous.

Hogwarts House Sorting Quiz

I already have an idea but I have a bit of a complex between two houses, so this will be interesting! This website looks to take the whole Harry Potter quiz thing much more seriously – intense.

Hufflepuff! Loyal, dependable, hard working.

People mock Hufflepuffs and I don’t know why – Hufflepuffs are known for being kind and caring; in what was is that a bad thing?

My ‘in-depth’ responses were 15 Hufflepuff, 13 Ravenclaw (that’s where my complex lie), 10 Gryffindor and 7 Slytherin – that’s not too bad I suppose, fairly even. I adore Harry Potter, I want to reread the books this year.

Which Fantasy/SciFi character are you?

Okay this is the deepest quiz I’ve ever taken – there was philosophy, guilt complexes – it was intense.

Aragorn from Lord of the Rings! I’m not surprised it ended up as a fantasy character over a sci-fi character to be honest.

Which “Divergent” faction do you actually belong in?

I’m fairly new to Divergent – it’s one of the first books in a very long time that I’ve watched the movie first and I’ve not got round to reading the book yet but I know already that I’m going to love it – it’s everything I love in a genre with dystopia, conflict and a complex characters. Better find out where I fit then.

I’ve been asked to pick an emoji and which quality I value most – now that’s diversity.

Abnegation, but I don’t actually know what that is. “Abnegation is the faction dedicated to selflessness and simplicity, always putting others before themselves. Initiates are forced to reject a life of vanity and self-indulgence, protecting themselves from a selfish life of greed and envy. Mirrors, gossiping, and buying luxury items are strictly forbidden. Their attire consists of gray and their substance in the Choosing Ceremony is a stone.”

Okay, I can rock that. I totally get the selflessness thing but the vanity thing is a bit far. I did a quiz like this months ago and got Divergent and my friend who’s obsessed with the series said (totally out of context of the book) that she thinks I’d be Divergent. I think that makes me just a little bit cooler.

There’s no way I can do a bunch of silly quizzes like this and not do this next one, so I thought I’d end on a high note…

Which member of One Direction should you be dating?

I’m now thinking I might make my mum do these quizzes and make a blog post on that because that could actually be pretty funny. Again, I do have a favourite member of One Direction (as I knew what faction/house I wanted to be in) so I’ll try and answer honestly and neutrally, I promise.

I got Harry Styles. Who is my favourite. I was neutral I promise – I picked my favourite date food was ice cream and an ideal present would be concert tickets and there’s no way that those answers are lies.

Apparently I’ve got to watch the new video for “Night Changes” to go on an ice skating date with my new boo. How patronising!
